Mission
The Collaborative on Equity in Rural Cancer Care (CERCC) aims to generate transdisciplinary improvement in the delivery of evidence-based rural cancer care through clinical, research, and educational activities.
Areas of Focus
Geographic Access to Cancer Care: Identification, development, and testing of interventions designed to overcome geographic barriers to accessing high-quality cancer care.
Decision Psychology in Oncology: Characterization of, and improvement in, how patients and clinicians make decisions related to cancer care.
Bioethics and Cancer Care Delivery: Investigation of the ethical underpinnings of health equity and justice as they relate to ensuring that high-quality cancer care is available to all patients in need.
